Ingredients
- 1 # fresh gr. beans
- 1 tbs butter
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
Step 1
Place prepared beans in vegetable steamer. Place uncovered over boiling water in pot for 2 minutes. Cover and steam over boiling water 15-20 minutes until crispy tender. ( Keep an eye on the water.)
Saute almonds in butter until lightly golden. Add to hot cooked green beans.
