Hummus with Chatta

Ingredients

  • For decoration:
  • 1 pound chickpeas or ready made chickpeas can
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon Chatta paste (spicy paste)
  • 2 tablespoons Tahina
  • Salt
  • Red peppers flake
  • Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Boil the chickpeas and set them aside.

In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend on low for 3-5 minutes till the dip is smooth.

Place in a bowl and create a shallow well in the center of the hummus.

Add a small amount of olive oil on the surface and garnish with red peppers flake.
