Ingredients
- 12 cans minced clams
- 1 1/2 C olive oil
- 3 or more C bread crumbs
- 4 T dried parsley
- 24 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 2 1/2 C diced onion
- 2 T oregano
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions in olive oil, add garlic, sauté, add parsley, oregano and 3 C bread crumbs. Brown mix slightly. Add 6 cans of clams in blender, chop quickly; add other 6 cans including juice of these 6 cans. Add browned bread crumb mixture. Mix well. Spoon into shells, sprinkle lightly w/ bread crumbs, paprika and parm cheese.
Bake 370 for 25-30 mins (or until crusty on top)
*Mixture can be frozen prior to cooking. If mixture is too wet, add more crumbs
