  • 12 (3)
  • 1 pkg. (1 Lb) Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage (1/4 Lb)
  • 8 eggs, lightly beaten (2 Eggs)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (6 Tbsp)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard (1/4 + 1/8 tsp)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1/32 tsp)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper (pinch)
  • 1 1/2 cups (6 Ozs) shredded cheddar cheese, divided ( 1/2 Ozs)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green or red bell pepper (2 Tbsp)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut sausage into 1/2 inch cubes; set aside. Place eggs, cream, dry mustard, salt and black pepper in a large bowl; whisk until smooth.

2. Stir in sausage, 1 cup of cheese (1 Tbsp) and bell pepper. Pour egg mixture into a greased 13x9-inch (4x4") baking dish.

3. Bake 40-45 minutes or until eggs are set. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
