Ingredients
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 icicle radish, same size as carrot
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 dash salt
Preparation
Step 1
To cut the carrot and icicle radish into flower shapes, cut several lengthwise wedges out of each of these vegetables and slice them paper thin.
Combine the water, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Put the vegetables into the marinade for 1 hour before serving. Remove from the marinade and serve.
This recipe yields about 1 pint.
