Ghirardelli Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate, broken into small pieces
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine chocolate, sugar, water & corn syrup.

2. Stir continuously until chocolate & butter has melted and sugar is dissolved.

3. When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and continue slightly boiling for 10 minutes, stirring often.

4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
