- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups warm whip cream
- 1 cup karo
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla

Step 1
In a heavy saucepan, heat sugar, syrup, salt, and 1 cup of the cream. Bring to a boil at medium heat. Boil 10 minutes, stirring. Then slowly add the cream not allowing the boil to reduce. Cook for 5 more minutes. Then add the butter 1 tblsp at a time. Cook till the mixture reaches 240-242 degrees on a candy thermometer. Add the vanilla and pour into an 8-8 butter pan. Cool, cut then wrap.
