  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12-ounce) bag white chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla and orange extract.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until combined. Beat in chocolate morsels, oats, and pistachios.

Drop by heaping tablelspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool on pans for 2 minutes. Remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks. Store in airtight containers.
