Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients
- 6 lb. corned beef
- 2 12-oz. bottles of your favorite beer
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp. peppercorns
- 2 tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 tbsp. coriander
- 1 head cabbage

Preparation
Step 1
1. Rub open faces of corned beef with garlic.
2. Insert corned beef into large pot, and fill with beer. 3. Add water if necessary to cover corned beef by one inch.
4. Add spices, including garlic, and cover.
5. Bring pot to boil then lower to a simmer.
6. Maintain simmer for four and a half hours.
7. Remove corned beef and allow to sit while you boil cabbage in the water from the corned beef.
