Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped celery rib
  • 1/2 chopped gr pepper
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 1 14oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. pearl barley

Preparation

Step 1

Sauté beef, onion, celery, pepper. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer, covered for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until barley is done.
