  • One head shredded Cabbage
  • One medium onion sliced thin
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Oil
  • One Cup Vinegar
  • One tsp. salt
  • One tsp. dry mustard
  • One tsp. celery seed
  • One tsp. Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Layer cabbage and onion in bowl ad pour 3/4 Cup sugar on top. DO NOT MIX.

Step 2

Combine and bring to boil:

3/4 Cup Oil
One Cup Vinegar
One tsp. Salt
One tsp. Dry mustard
One tsp. Celery seed
One tsp. Sugar

Step 3

Pour hot mixture over cabbage. Do not mix. Refrigerate three hours. Mix before serving.
