Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb sirloin sliced thin
  • 3 cups broccoli flowerets
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced thin
  • 3 oz shitake mushrooms sliced thin
  • 1 cup sugar snap peas
  • 3 heads garlic pressed
  • 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • Onions or shallots opt.
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Beef marinade:
  • 1/2 tsp arrowroot
  • 1 tsp dry sherry
  • 1 tsp Tamari
  • Strir fry sauce:
  • 1/4 cup broth
  • 1 tsp arrowroot powder
  • 1 Tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 Tbsp tamari
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate steak at least 15 minutes.

Step 2

Stir fry steak in 2 Tbsp of hot(medium high) oils (olive, avocado, sesame) for 2- 4 minutes then transfer to plate. Do half at a time to get a good sear not braise.

Step 3

Add more oil and saute peppers and broccoli 2 minutes then add mushrooms and peas till tender crisp, stir in ginger and garlic, stir 30 seconds. Add pepper flakes and stir fry sauce. Cook till thickened and cover if necessary to steam vegetables till tender

Step 4

Serve plain or over rice.
