Preparation

Step 1

Prepare cake mix as directed on package and bake in two 9-inch cake pans. Cool completely.

Step 2

Lemon Marshmallow Bunny Cake (Easter) - Step 2

Cut marshmallows in half for the bodies. For the ears, cut a halved marshmallow in half again. I arranged "bunnies" on wax paper until needed. You will need about 14 "bunnies" to go around the sides of the cake.

Step 3

Frost cake.

Step 4

Place the marshmallow "bunnies" around the sides of the cake. (I started at the bottom.)

I used Betty Crocker cake mix and Duncan Hines frosting.
I used scissors to cut the marshmallows, and a bit of cooking spray to clean off the blades and my fingertips.
