Seafood Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 lb. peeled shrimp
  • 2 pt. crab meat
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 2-3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups sharp cheese, grated

Preparation

Step 1

Melt cream cheese and margarine. Sauté shrimp and crab meat, onion, green pepper and celery in 2 Tbls. margarine. Add rest, except cheddar cheese, include cream cheese and margarine in mixture. Mix well. Pour into a 9x13 casserole dish. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350º for 20 - 30 minutes.
