Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 tbs hoisin sauce
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1/2 c. br. sugar
- 3 tbs ketchup
- 1/4 tsp dry ginger
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- Toasted sesame seeds(opt)
Preparation
Step 1
In a mixing bowl mix together water, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup and ginger. Spray crockpot with cooking spray and add chicken then the sauce. Cook 4 hours on low. Remove chicken and cut into chunks. Whisk cornstarch into the sauce to thicken it up. Slowly add more cornstarch one teaspoon at a time to reach desired thickness. Return chicken to crockpot and heat for 15 minutes. Serve over rice and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
