Pretzel Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • First Layer:
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels (not too fine)
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Second Layer:
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • Third Layer:
  • 1 large (or 2 small) box of strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 15 oz. packages of frozen strawberries, sliced (you can slice them frozen if they are whole)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and pat first layer in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes and cool completely.

Beat together cream cheese and sugar for the second layer. Fold in Cool Whip, then spread over the crust/first layer.

For third layer, mix jello and water together, then mix strawberries in jello. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Spread onto cream cheese layer.

Refrigerate.
