Stove Top Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 stick butter, cut up in chunks
• 4 T. cocoa
• 1/2 c. milk
• 2 c. sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
• 3 c. quick oats

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, cocoa, milk and sugar in medium pan over medium heat. Heat until boiling and keep at a rolling boil for 90 seconds. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Mix in peanut butter (do not use same measuring cup used for milk). Mix oats. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Wait (if you can) until cooled/hardened to serve.
