Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup + 3TBS flloour
  • 1/8 tsp ground mace
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
  • 1 1/2 TBS lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 % butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 9 " unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine sugar, 3TBS flour, mace and nutmeg in large bowl. Add peaches and lemon juice, mix well, set aside.
2. In separate bowl mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup flour. With pastry blender, cut in butter. Add pecans, stir to mix.
3. Spread 1/3 of pecan mixture across bottom of pie crust. Spoon peaches over pecan mixture. Top w/ remaining pecan mixture.
4. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 40". Cool on wire rack.
