  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Aluminum foil
  • Knife
  • Gas or charcoal grill

Preparation

Step 1

Heat your gas grill to high-If you're using a charcoal grill, burn the coals until you can see gray ash.

Use a knife to cut about 1/2 inch off the top of the garlic head so the cloves are exposed.

Sprinkle olive oil over the cloves.

Wrap the garlic in two layers of aluminum foil.

Put the garlic in the center of the rack.

Grill for about 40 minutes, or until the cloves feel soft when squeezed.
