Make a large bowl with a hole in middle with the 5 lb. flour.

Add the 1/2 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of vanilla, 5 eggs, 1 quart of milk, and 1/2 cup oil and knead thoroughly. Be sure dough is soft and allow to rise double (1 hour), then punch down, and knead again. Let raise 45 minutes.

Soften together the 2 cakes yeast with the 1 cup warm water.

Heat oil in large pan for deep frying.
Take a handful of dough and squeeze out into small balls between fingers and thumb in clenched position. Drop in hot oil and brown on all sides. Drain on brown paper. Roll in cinnamon sugar mix while warm.
