Pork Chops and Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs oil
  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 c. rice
  • 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/2 c. diced gr peppers
  • 1/2 c. diced onions

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Heat the oil. Season the chops with salt and pepper and brown in oil. Remove chops and set aside. Brown the rice with the remaining ingredients in same pan. Turn into casserole and top with chops. Cover and bake 1 hour or until chops are done and rice is done.
