Ingredients
- 2 Cups Flour
- 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Butter/Margarine (melted)
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Blueberries (fresh Michigan berries are BEST!)
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl mix together flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl beat together egg, melted butter and milk; add all at once to flour mixture. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in blueberries. Spoon into greased muffin cups and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake at 425° for 20 - 25 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 12 muffins.
