Ingredients
- 3 minced onions
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 15 1/2 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 16 oz can diced tomatoes
- 4 oz can pieces of mushrooms
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 8 oz pkg seashell macaroni
- 8 oz sliced Provolone cheese
- 3 cups sour cream
- 4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in olive oil until tender. Add ground beef; cook until browned, stirring to crumble meat. Add spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, drained mushrooms and garlic salt, stir well and simmer 20 min. Cook macaroni and drain. Place half of macaroni in a 4 qt greased casserole; layer with half of meat sauce, half of provolone and half of sour cream Repeat layers and top with mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes; uncover and bake 15 min.
Would also be good made with Italian sausage.
