Mustard/sour cream mac n cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C butter
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 12 oz macaroni
  • 2 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/4 C sour cream
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese grated or shredded
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta as recommended time on package, drain and stir in butter until melted. Whisk together mustard, 1 C of the sour cream, milk and salt and pepper. Fold in the onions, 1 C of the cheese
and the pasta. Transfer to baking dish and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and fold in the remaining sour cream and cheese. Return to oven and bake until golden brown. approx. another 15 minutes.
