Spoon Bread

Ingredients

• 1 pkg. yeast
• 1 egg
• 1/4 c. sugar
• 2 c. lukewarm water
• 4 c. self-rising flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first four ingredients together, then add flour. Put in 3-qt. jars or other air-tight containers. Do not fill jars full, dough needs room to rise.

To bake:
Put 2 tablespoons dough into each greased muffin tin. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
