Ribbon Jello

Ingredients
- 3 (3oz.) pkg. Jello,1 each: red,green,yellow
- 3 c. boiling water(1 for each color)
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c.sugar
- 2 env. unflavored gelatin (Knox)
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
mix each color with 1 cup water each and set aside. heat milk to a boil and add sugar, stir to dissolve. lower heat to simmer,being careful not to burn the milk. in a separate bowl,mid1/2cup cold water with the 2 packages Knox gelatin. set aside. remove milk mix from hear,and add sour cream and vanilla. add Knox mixture to milk mixture and beat for 5 minutes. in 9x12-inch pan,alternate white mixture with colored jello, starting with white as the bottom layer. let each layer set before adding the next. keep refrigerated.
