Ingredients

  • 1 12 ounce can Solo Filling
  • 1 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour or 2 Cups Cake flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Cup salted butter
  • 1 TBSP sugar
  • 1 TBSP milk
  • 1 egg yolk

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES

1. Sift flour and baking powder.
2. Cream butter with cream cheese, milk and sugar.
3. Add beaten egg yolk
4. Add flour mixture
5. Chill for several hours or overnight
6. Roll out to 1/8" or 1/4" thick as desired and cut with cookie cutter into 2"rounds.
7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, make a depression with thumb or spoon in center of each round.
8. Add 1 teaspoon filling into each center.
9. Bake Kolacky for 10 minutes until slightly brown
10. Confectioner's sugar may be sprinkled on top before serving
