Grape Juice

NOTE: I drain grapes in a food mill fist. Then strain juice in acloth bag, or several layers of cheesecloth. Also, you may process the canned juice 5 min, in a hot water bath to ensure a good seal.

- 5 lbs. Concord grapes
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar to 8 cups juice

Step 1
Sten and wash Concord grapes. To each 5 lbs, grapes, add 2 cups water. Cover and bring slowly to boiling. Sinner until seeds are freee. Remove from heat. Place in cloth bag to drain. To each 8 cups juice add 1 cup sugar. Let come to a boil and seal immediately in hot, sterilized jars. When ready to serve, add an equal amount of water.
