Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Miracle Whip (or regular mayonaise)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 cups flour (not cake flour)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Dissolve baking soda in warm water. Mix sugar and Miracle Whip and add to water.
2. Add flour and cocoa to mixture; mix well.
3. Spray baking pan with non-stick spray and pour batter into 10-inch baking pan. Using Extender Ring, bake on 2-inch rack on Power Level 8 for 45 minutes.
4. Let cake rest inside Oven for 30 minutes; test for doneness with toothpick.
5. Ice cake after it is cool.
