Ingredients
- 4 Fillet steaks (4-6 oz each)
- 2 tbs Butter
- 2 tbs Shallots; finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 1/4 cup Mushrooms; sliced
- 1/2 cup Double cream
- 1 shot Irish Whiskey
- Salt/Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Melt the butter over medium heat in a large frying pan. Add steaks and saute quickly, turning once. Time about 1 1/2 minutes each side. Season with salt and pepper. Remove steaks to heatproof dish and keep warm. Add chopped shallots, garlic and mushrooms to frying pan, saute until shallots are tender and mushrooms lightly browned. Add cream and Irish whiskey. Cook over medium heat until sauce is reduced by half. Pour over steaks, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve at once.
