Pineapple fudge

Ingredients

• 2 cups white suger
• 1 cup brown suger
• 1/2 cup evaporated milk
• 2 cups crushed pineapple, drained
• 2 table spoon butter
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook first 4 items, stirring often. to soft ball stage9232 dedrees).
2. Remove from heat and add next 3 items.
3. Cool to lukewarm and beat until it starts to lose its gloss.
4. Add pecans and pour into buttered 8x8 inch pan.
5. Store in squares and press pecan half into each.
6. Cut when firm.
