Ingredients
- COOKIES:
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup Smith's Sour Cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- FROSTING:
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 2 tbsp. Smith's milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Food coloring (optional)

Step 1
1.) In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla, and mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda, add to the creamed mixture, and mix well. Chill dough at least 2 hours or overnight.
2.) Roll dough out on a heavily floured surface to a 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with a 3-inch cookie cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350º for 10-12 mins. or until cookie springs back when lightly touched. Cool. Mix all frosting ingredients until smooth; spread over cookies. Decorate with sprinkles or colored sugar.
