Cheese filled Jumbo Shells 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 box (12 oz) jumbo shells
  • 4 cups (2 lb.) ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella
  • 3/4 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 1/2 (32 oz.) spaghetti sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1.) Cook shells according to package directions. Drain. Cool in single layer on was paper to prevent sticking.

2.) Combine cheeses, eggs, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper. Fill each shell with about 2 tbsp. cheese mixture.

3.) Spread thin layer of sauce o bottom of 13x9 baking dish. Place shells open side down. In single layer, cover with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with additional parmesan.

4.) Cover with foil; bake at 350º for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
