Manchurian Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 crusty bread rolls,
  • 1 medium carrot grated,
  • 1 medium cabbage shredded,
  • 1/4 small cauliflower grated,
  • 3 tbsp refined flour,
  • 3 tsp ching's secret soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil & oil to deep fry
  • 3 tsp Smith & jones ginger garlic paste
  • 3 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 3 medium Spring onions with greens chopped
  • 1 tbsp ching's secret vinegar
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Take carrot in a bowl. Add cabbage, cauliflower, salt & mix.

2. Add refined flour & ching's secret soy sauce & mix well. Shape into marble sized balls.

3. Heat sufficient oil in a wok & deep fry balls till golden. Meanwhile heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.

4. Add ginger garlic paste, green chillies & sauté till fragrant. Drain & add fried balls & stir.

5. Add half a cup of water & ching's secret soy sauce & stir. Also add sugar, salt & mix.

6. Mix cornflour with a quarter cup of water & add to pan & stir.

7. Add spring onion with greens & mix well. Add ching's secret vinegar & mix. Slit rolls without
cutting through. Put some of manchurian mixture in slit & press lightly.

8. Serve Hot.
