Ingredients

  • 24 oz. spaghetti sauce – chunk style
  • 28 oz. can dice tomatoes
  • 2 lbs. Hamburg
  • 1 – 32 oz. beef broth
  • 4 –6 large green peppers chopped
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic
  • basil and oregano to taste

Step 1

Chop peppers and onion. Cook hamburg and then drain. Add everything together and cook until onions and peppers are soft. Because the rice is already cooked, I put in after the soup is cooked. Then let simmer another 15 – 20 minutes. Once in a bowl, I sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. It is also good like a chili if you cook it down or add more beef broth if it is too thick. Anyway you want it…it is delicious. ENJOY!!.
