  • 1 1 1 C. butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 C. sugar
  • 2 2 2 eggs
  • 1 1 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 3/4 2 3/4 3/4 C. flour
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 2 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 C. sugar
  • 1 1 1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 ̊F. Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Slowly beat in the eggs and vanilla. Slowly add the flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar until combined. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Roll about 1-2 Tablespoons of dough into a ball and into cinnamon and sugar mixture then place on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Transfer to cooling rack and cool completely.
