Ingredients

  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 4 tbs butter
  • 3/4 c. cream
  • 1 c. white cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a sauce pan sauté shallot and garlic in two tablespoons of butter. Add broth and bring to a boil. Slowly whisk in cornmeal and cook stirring about 5 minutes. Add cream, remaining butter and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
