Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/3 Cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 60 Hershey Kisses-unwrapped ( 1 bag )
  • Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In large mixing bowl, combine sugar & oil. Add cocoa, beating until well blended. Beat in eggs & vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder & salt; add to cocoa mixture, blending well. Cover; chill at least 6 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape dough into 1 inch balls with the Hershey Kisses in the center of the ball. Roll balls in powdered sugar. If dough becomes sticky, return to fridge to chill, or coat hands with powdered sugar before rolling dough into balls so dough adheres to the kisses. Place balls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet; cool on wire rack.
