Jo's Hash Brown Casserole

This cheesy hash brown casserole is a favorite! Easy to make ahead and pop in the oven about an hour before serving dinner. Great to take to pot lucks and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 (30-ounce) bag frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9x13 pan (3 qt.) casserole pan with non stick spray.

Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl. Spread evenly in prepared casserole pan.

Bake, covered, for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes until top is golden.
