Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound mushroom, ground
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 quart chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Grind mushrooms; chop onion.
 
Simmer mushrooms and onions in chicken broth. Then...
1. Blend and work together the butter and flour.
2. Gradually add to the broth mixture, stirring constantly.
3. Add cream and let boil up.
4. Remove from heat. Just before serving add lemon juice and salt and pepper.

Finally...Top with whipped cream, if desired and sprinkle with paprika.
