Ingredients

  • Syrup:
  • 2 pints fresh sliced peaches
  • 1/2 c fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 c raspberries
  • 1 c green grapes
  • 2 sliced bananas
  • Any other fruit could be added really.
  • 3/4 c honey
  • 1 T grated lemon peel
  • 2 T orange juice
  • 1 T lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, gently toss fruit, all except the bananas, to combine well and refrigerate.

Meanwhile, make the syrup combining all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.

Pour the cooled syrup over the fruit and mix gently. Refrigerate for at least an hour.

Add the banana slices just before serving. You could also make a double batch of the syrup if you would like more. Sometimes I also toss a little coconut into the salad.
