  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

in a small heavy saucepan, bring sugar, syrup and cream to a boil. simmer over low heat 3-4 minutes. add butter, vanilla and salt. stir until butter melts and everything is completely blended.
remove from heat, cool completely.
can refridgerate in a covered container upto 3 weeks.
