- 1/4 Cup Butter - unsalted
- 1 pound Nuts - any variety
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar - Light
- 1/8 to 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Vietnamese Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 TB Maple Syrup

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet set over medium high heat, melt butter and add the nuts.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes, until nuts are fragrant &
beginning to toast.
Add the remaining ingredients, strring until the sugar begins to melt.
Lower the heat to medium and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, until the nuts
are nicely caramelized around the outside.
Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet to cool, stirring periodically.
TIP: To enhance flavor of the nuts, toast them on the baking sheet in the oven
at 350 for 7 to 9 minutes, after transferring them from the skillet.
