By Anne545
Easy-to-make breakfast casserole, with eggs, cheese, milk, and bread, baked with your favorite mix-ins - sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, veggies.

Mushrooms tend to hold a lot of moisture, so if you use a lot of them, you may want to sauté them first to release some of their water. Sausage should be browned and cooked through first. You can also uses spices such as curry and cumin.

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat eggs in large bowl. Mix in milk & cheese. Add bread & carefully stir until all pieces are moistened (don't over mix or bread may disintegrate).
Add additions of your choosing. Add salt & pepper to taste (if using Italian sausage, you won't need either.) If you have a lot of additions, you might need a couple more eggs to make sure that everything is at least touching some egg mixture. Just whisk in 2 Tbsp. milk for every beaten egg you add.
Butter 13 x 9 inch casserole dish. Pour mix into casserole dish.
Bake 50-60 min., until top is browned & center springs back when touched. Remove from oven & let cool 10 min. before serving.
