Ingredients
- Full batch
- 2 c peanut butter
- 2/3 c butter, softened
- 1-1/3 c sugar
- 1-1/3 c packed brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2-1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp light corn syrup
- 6 cups old fashioned oatmeal, gluten-free (for the full batch Charisse uses 3 c old fashioned and 3 cups regular)
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 1 c M&Ms

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in eggs, baking soda, vanilla and syrup. Add oats and mix well. Stir in chips and M&Ms. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet (she uses parchment paper). Back at 350 degrees for 14-18 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool for a short time before removing onto a wire rack.
Full batch yields about 2-1/2 dozen cookies.
