Ingredients
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 stalks celery, sliced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 lg potato, diced
- 2 tbs fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 2 tsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 can white beans
- 1/2 c. barley
- 1 c. frozen corn
- 1 lg potato, diced
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté onions and garlic in butter, add celery, carrots and seasonings, then broth. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
