Ingredients
- 1 lb. stew meat cut up
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 c. beef broth
- 2 c. V-8
- 1 c. water
- 1 bottle of beer, optional
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 Tbs. Worchestershire sauce
- 28 oz. can seasoned diced tomatoes
- 2 potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 1 c. corn
- 1 c. beans
- 1 c. peas
Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat in olive oil. Remove from pan. Add more oil and saute onion, celery and garlic.
Return meat. Add broth, V-8, water, bay leaves, canned tomatoes, Wor. sauce,salt and pepper.
Simmer 1 hour.
Add vegetables and cook until tender.
