Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- salt
- pepper
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 1/2 tbsp. cumin
- oil
Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown onion and rice in oil in 2 quart pan until rice is browned and onion is clear.
2. Add tomato and water over sink; Stir.
3. Add cumin; Cook without cover on medium low until rice and water are even.
4. Cover and cook for 30 minutes on low.
