Ingredients
- 6-8 * 6-8 ripe purple prune plums, halved
- 2 * 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- * Pinch salt
- 1/2 * 1/2 lemon, grated rind
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut plums in half and remove pits.
2. Place in a baking dish skin side down and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and grate a little lemon zest over the top.
3. Roast at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until soft.
4. Serve over warm bread that has been buttered or ‘buttered and honeyed’.
