Ingredients

  • 4 kg strawberries
  • 1 ,5 kg sugar
  • 75 g powdered pectin*
  • 200 ml Crème de Cassis

Step 1

Wash strawberries and place i a food processor, it doesn't matter if the pieces arn't equal. Pour in a big pot and start to boil. When it releases its juice add most of the sugar, boil for about 35-40 minutes then add the the pectin combined with the rest of the sugar, stir weel, boil vigorously for a further minute. Take off the heat and stir in the liquer. Pour in sterilized little jars close tightly and put upside down for 5 minutes.

*I used Dr. Oetker Jam Fix Super 3:1.
